With the exception of the small Framingham League of approx 8 teams in the Framingham area. The Yare initially provided a league of two divisions with approximately 10 teams in each division consisting of teams of 12 people in 4 blocks we now have three divisions

Later the afternoon Anglia league was started which consists of 6 people in two blocks there are now two divisions.

We also have a knock out cup for all teams called the Howlett Trophy. Again with four blocks

An indoor league (the Avon) played at the Colman’s Sports Club, two ring indoor green this continued until the club was sold in?

The founder clubs were all from federation bowls clubs. We have now moved on and encompass federation and EBA clubs in the Norwich area.
